Products, company backgrounds, other company business plans etc

Be an Independent Representative.

3. Buying Business Leads

This would work, but result again would be less than 5-10 %, Generate the Targeted Leads from your own is the best way to grow faster.

Remember Buying Leads would always be Generic. Less than 25% would be interested to listen you and out of those 25%, less than 5-10 % would be part of your

Business, and out of those there might be 1% (if you are lucky), who might be from MLM or Network Marketing background.

Also to buy such leads, don’t spend more than your earnings, Once in a while you can do that, but not always. Because without the profits no Business can

1. Trying to comprehend everything

If you are new in your company and you sit down for a few days (some employees may even need weeks before they place an initial telephone call) testing the product, digesting all of the company literature, analyzing every sum relating to the compensation table, committing to memory all of the names of the executives in the company (I think we catch the drift)

This is an extremely laborious method to get underway in your business.

4. Giving up your job

Network Marketing is a business like any other business. Do not con yourself into thinking that you are going to have to burn all of your bridges and invest everything you have got without any means of making any money for the next 6 months.

There is an old adage that says; if the only tool I have is a hammer, all my problems will look like nails. In network marketing, every form of monetary strain may destroy your prospects because you will constantly view them as money bags prior to and even once they get in.

Some veteran networkers only think about quitting their job when the earnings in their business equal at least twice their existing revenue.

5. Selling the business or I have a business prospect for you

What you are doing at the moment will be duplicated downline. Most people would concur that 80-90% of the populace are not qualified sales people.

Most people who are unable to sell, sell items that do not resolve other peoples issues, to people who do not like being sold to and who label you as a shady salesman attempting to pick their pockets.

8. Telling prospects that this is not MLM or network marketing

Most newbies are so anxious or uncomfortable when the prospects ask these dreadful questions:

Is this MLM?
Is this one of those networking things?
Is this one of those pyramid selling things?
Are you attempting to enlist me into one of those Direct Selling things?

Most will say, Um, no its not. Yeah it is a MLM but we are not really selling… hello? Hello??

Ever get those sinking feelings?

9. Never tell stories to your prospects. It makes you look bad and people are not dim. Either tell them openly that it IS an MLM or Networking business (we should be proud that we are in a multi-million dollar industry) or turn the question around by asking, What do you mean is it MLM what do you think about MLM? Then let him, or her, give you their answer. Book a meeting after that.

Remember: If you are guarded about what you are doing, your prospects will feel that they will have to do similar if they join you.

10. Deceiving my friends into an opportunity meeting

An additional gigantic error: asking your friends or prospects out for a drink and then taking them to an opportunity meeting without telling them that it is an opportunity meeting.

You achieve nothing by hiding things from your prospects. Be open and proud of what you are doing! Use confidence, not deception.

Remember, avoiding the wrong things saves you the valuable time (some people in MLM do the wrong things for years) so you can learn how to do the right things with the time you saved.

Is this practical stuff or just theory? Must I do the wrong things myself to prove that it is really wrong so I can feel it for real? Well, A mother does not need to go on drugs in order to prove to her child that they should avoid drugs now…?

A publicly traded company is required to disclose their financial condition in great detail every 90 days to the SEC and other government agencies so you might want to go with one of them.

Does the company you’re thinking of going with offer products or services that are unique to them? You don’t want to go with a company where people can get the product somewhere else and at a big discount. Also, you don’t want to have to deal with a lot of competition. You want to make sure that there is a real need for the product or service that you’re going to be offering. Your product or service will need to fill a true need and at a good price or it won’t succeed. There should be a large untapped market for it, meaning that it needs to be of great value so that your customer will want to buy it.

You don’t want to choose a product or service that’s merely a trend or a fad. If you do, then your business would eventually fail when the need for that product fades. You want a product or service that has a long term appeal. If you go with a trend, then you’ll not be able to build long term income. You’ll want to choose a company where you can earn immediate income so that you can finance your marketing efforts from the profits. Does the company’s marketing system take full advantage of the technology that’s available today? Sure, not everyone can be a great sales person; however, practically everyone can plug into a system that does the selling and sorting for them.

You’ll want to make sure that the person that’s getting you involved in this network business opportunity is committed to not only their success, but your success as well. If they are, then the company is a strong one and their product is a good one. This will all help you succeed at your new business venture. You want someone that’s going to sponsor and mentor you as you learn the business. You don’t want someone that’s just going to recruit you and then disappear.

You can and should be able to start your network business part time at first so you’ll not lose you primary income. Once it’s on its way to being a success, then if you want to quit your day job, feel free to do so. Lastly, you’ll want your business to be fun for you. You don’t want to think of it as a job.

You may be thinking at this point, only four secrets to making millions and millions of dollars? Let’s hear it then. Actually, there is really only one. Time and time again, success story after success story; all have this one truth in common. So, this particular gem save for last.

If network marketing is all about networking and of course marketing, why do so many network marketers continue to struggle to realize the infinite networking and lead generating potential of the internet? Simply put, it’s being done all wrong. How’s that?

Network marketing (also known as “Multi-Level-Marketing” or MLM) depends most heavily on…

- recruiting / lead generation / relationship-building

- sales conversion

- ongoing consumption

- replicating yourself through down line motivation and training

If your network marketing business fails to recognize the importance and any one of these fundamental elements then quite simply, you won’t have much of a business at all.

Everything starts with recruiting and lead generation. No leads means no sales. No sales means no down line. No down line means… I’m sure you get the idea here. The entire process is built upon the foundation of recruiting and relationship-building with the express intent of maximizing product consumption and the success of your down line. Your bottom line is this. If you can’t replicate your success within your down line you ultimately fail to realize the true income generating potential of network marketing.

That being said, I’ll take this opportunity to summarize my own cautionary tale for those who are new to network marketing or who are just now thinking of taking the plunge. For those who have been around the block a time or two please bear with me. Much of my story may undoubtedly sound very much like your own.

When I first made the decision to start my network marketing business, I believed that with a great product and an effective marketing system, enough hard work would guarantee me success. I had the right attitude, but the wrong impression of what made this business tick. I expected to have a great deal to learn and I was eager to do so. I attended trainings, bought books, studied sales copy, purchased leads, ran ad campaigns, the whole routine.

I managed to generate a fair number of leads, and only a few conversions. For me that was fine. I assumed that if x amount of traffic equaled y amount of conversions, all I needed to do was… You guessed it, drive more traffic. So, here I am grinding like a mad man at driving traffic, and losing all but my shirt in the process. That’s when it dawned on me. Sure things are a bit slow going, but if my real return on my investment comes with creating a successful down line… How many members of my down line can I honestly say would be willing to put in this much time, effort, and yes money, for the same results. Not a single one…

I’ll say this once more just to be absolutely clear. If you can’t easily and effectively replicate a reasonable measure of success in your network marketing down line, then you are in effect spinning your wheels without going much of anywhere. If you assume that replicated content and replicated sites are the same thing as replicated success, you may want to think again.

Think of your business like a car and the content you provide your potential prospects as the wheels. If you expect to move your business you need the content you provide about your business to stand out. You need wheels that give your business traction. That traction comes in the form of having a unique voice and providing your prospects unique content about your business.

Well that about says it… Once you do your pre-selling and your marketing to generate your leads make sure you can provide good quality content to convert those leads into sales. Create an effective method to transfer some form of ownership to your down line so that they can achieve their own unique voice and replicate your success for themselves.

Oh and as for my million dollar secret… So, what is the secret that creates truly successful businesses, not to mention truly wealthy people? Here it is…

Do what you love… If you can find a way to turn your passion, your interest, even your favorite hobby into your business, then you will be in a much better position to achieve true success. Turning an opportunity to make money into something you love is infinitely more difficult that turning something you love into an opportunity to make money.
